FOOD ANIMATION

SHOWCASE FOOD IN VISUALLY STUNNING AND FRESH IMAGINATIVE WAYS

WHY ANIMATION?

STAND OUT

Food is a show piece. It is emotional, beautiful and creative. Pair that with the power of animated storytelling and you have a treat no one can deny!

MAKE IT MEMORABLE

It all starts with stories that engage no matter the size. Take the Budweiser frogs, Coca-Colas Christmas ads or Chipotle’s “Back to the start” short film. We remember those brands and ads because they emotionally connect with us.

KEY PROCESS POINTS

IMAGINATIVE

It can be entertaining: Animating food can be a fun and playful way to engage a audience, particularly if the animation is humorous or quirky. This can help to create a positive association with the brand and the product.

PICTURESQUE

Food, when handled well, is beautiful. However, in the wrong hands, well, we would rather not say. We know it’s tricky, and we know the tricks to make it sing, dance, and be the best food it can be!

CASE STUDY: SO GOOD SO YOU

CLIENT OBJECTIVE: PANDEMIC GROWTH

Target became a new vendor and SGSY needed to get the word out!

SOLUTION: FRESH ADDS

Show case the fresh, fun energy of the SGSY brand in a delightful way. SGSY has strong grass root support so we leaned on that and boosted the production value to make a splash! It was also important to show the scale of the product, so shooting hand talent was a must.

RESULT: GROWTH LEAD TO THESE ADDS AND THEY LEAD TO GROWTH

The adds were so successful that within a short time of the videos airing we were call on to updated the end tag for even more vendors including Albertsons, Pavilions, Vons and Safeway.

CASE STUDY: AMAZON + TYSON TASTEMAKERS

CLIENT OBJECTIVE: SHOWCASE THEIR NEW PRODUCT LINE

Amazon and Tyson teamed up to join the meal kit market and wanted to show off their products in a fun way.

SOLUTION: FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY + STOP-MOTION

These meal kits are so good they practically cook themselves (with just a little help). That idea kicked off our light hearted video showcasing food photography that is expertly animated to create a finger licking treat.

RESULT: THE VIDEO WAS FEATURED ON AMAZONS LANDING PAGE

Amazon proudly used this video on their webpage to introduce and kick off their initial Tyson Tastemakers offerings.

CASE STUDY: EGGO’S OATS & BERRIES

CLIENT OBJECTIVE: MARKET SATURATION

Eggo Needed 20 various social media adds, ASAP and to add to that they wanted them all with animals! The campaign was that the healthy Oats & Berries Waffles were so good, nature wouldn’t let go.

SOLUTION: MIXED MEDIA APPROACH

They wanted lots of animals but they knew they didn't have the resources to do it with a big live-action video shoot and a zoo's worth of trained animals. We recommended using a combination of studio and stock photography to produce all the deliverables they could dream up, without needing an animal handler.

RESULT: SOCIAL MEDIA CONQUORED

From Youtube pre-roll to Twitter, Facebook and beyond, Eggo deployed a fun, engaging and successful messaging campaign.
